The Tigers got off to a strong start Thursday in their baseball game with Meadville. Brandon Jochimsen blasted a 3-run homer in the first to give Brashear a lead they wouldn't surrender. After adding another run in the third, the Tigers scored 14 in the 4th including a John Gerhold 3-run walk-off homer to seal the win. Meadville got their 2 runs on the scoreboard in the top of the 4th. Quin Allen had a homerun and a double, Brandon Jochimsen had a homerun and 2 singles, John Gerhold had a homerun and a double, Brhet Place and Austin Peterson each had a single and a double, and Wyatt Reeves, Jace Snelling, and Garrett Housman each had hits. Brhet Place went the distance on the mound, scattering 2 hits and striking out 7.
